Representative

Prior to taking this position in March 2019, Hiroshi Iwai was the Head of Ichigo Hotel REIT (3463) since its listing. Since joining Ichigo in 2010, he has managed a wide range of real estate asset types including residences, offices, hotels, and ground leases. Iwai also has significant experience in managing private real estate funds deploying core-plus, value-add, and opportunistic investment strategies. Prior to joining Ichigo, he worked at realtor Ken Corporation and Simplex Investment Advisors.

Yuji Kamo joined Ichigo in 2011 after serving in the real estate and non-performing loan due diligence and the M&A advisory functions at Grachus & Associates, and in the asset management and finance functions at LaSalle Investment Management. At Ichigo he has broadly engaged in direct investments for private funds and REITs, proprietary investments, and M&A at both Ichigo Investment Advisors and Ichigo Estate, and was appointed Executive Managing Director of Ichigo Investment Advisors and Head of Office REIT in March 2023. Kamo assumed the role of Executive Vice President in March 2024.

Hidehito Iwasaka joined Ichigo in April 2013 after working in facility management at NSF Engagement (formerly Sony Facility -Management) and Mizuho Real Estate Management (formerly Simplex Investment Advisors). After serving in asset management and real estate development roles for office, residential, and retail assets at Ichigo Estate, he became Head of the Hotel & Resort Group and the Deputy Head of Sustainable Real Estate at Ichigo in April 2015. In this role Iwasaka led the value-add efforts for hotel and resort assets, and assumed his current position of Executive Officer and Head of Ichigo Hotel (3463) and Head of Asset Management in March 2019.

Prior to joining Ichigo in 2004, Takao Nitta worked at a securities firm supporting public offerings of client companies. Since joining Ichigo he has served in roles including IR, business planning, and M&A. As Head of Business Planning for Ichigo ECO Energy, he supported Ichigo’s entry into the clean energy business in November 2012 and was instrumental to the listing of Ichigo Green (9282) in 2016. Nitta assumed the role of Executive Officer and Head of Ichigo Green in 2020.

Masahiro Izumi joined Ichigo in 2013 after working in debt securitization and sales at a judicial scrivener and at an investment company, real estate management and sales at a real estate investment company, and legal services and overseas business development at an entertainment company. He became Ichigo Estate’s Head of Operations in July 2015 and proceeded to serve as the Head of Real Estate Contracting and the Head of the Hotel & Resort Group before assuming his current position of Executive Officer and Head of Private Funds in April 2021. He has extensive experience in real estate investment and management spanning office, residence, hotel, and retail assets.

Yasushi Ohta spent 18 years working in the wholesale division of a domestic trust bank, during which time he also supported IR activities of client companies. After serving as an IR, shareholder relations, and corporate governance consultant at an IR support service company, he joined Ichigo in 2015 and broadly contributed to Ichigo’s IR activities after its listing on the TSE First Section. Since becoming the Head of IR at Ichigo Investment Advisors in 2017, he has worked to grow shareholder value by overseeing IR activities of three investment corporations: Ichigo Office (8975), Ichigo Hotel (3463) and Ichigo Green (9282). Ohta became the Head of IR in 2020, and also serves as the Head of ESG Execution.
